Taking the Next Step!

It’s been an exciting past few weeks for us here at Peter Brown for Mayor. I wanted to share a few of the things that have been happening on the campaign, and to invite you to continue to be involved. Please visit www.peterbrownformayor.com/getinvolved to sign up and volunteer today.

• We were the first campaign to go up on TV last week with our introductory ad “Next Step.” It introduces Peter to the voters – his record, his experience, and his vision for our future. It’s been getting great reviews so far, so check it out: http://www.peterbrownformayor.com/multimedia/videos
   
• We’ve been rolling out a substantive vision for our city’s future, with a detailed blueprint for an even better Houston. You can read more about Peter’s vision here: www.peterbrownformayor.com/blueprint
   
• Yesterday, we officially filed to be on the ballot in November. We gathered nearly three times the number of signatures required. Our campaign has been and will continue to be rooted in our strong base of grassroots supporters.
   
• We have a very exciting fundraiser coming up, and I hope you’ll join us. It features key strategists from Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, including pollster Joel Benenson and media consultant Jason Ralston. • We’ll be opening up a new office in the International District this weekend – our campaign’s third office – to help support our aggressive grassroots efforts and reach out to new communities. Stay tuned for our Grand Opening details!

Our campaign has real momentum. We’re working harder and we’re getting more done than our opponents, and we’re going to win in November.
