An Exciting Endorsement

George Clinton endorsed me tonight! You might know him from his bands Parliament and Funkadelic, also known as P-Funk. 
I have known him for years and was glad to attend his concert at the House of Blues.
As I told the Houston Chronicle, We have a serious campaign to reach people who have never been reached before and that's what this is all about.

It’s important to me to take a step back every now and then and remind myself of how lucky I am. I’m running for Mayor of the City that I love. And I have an extraordinarily diverse staff that helps me talk about the issues that are important to all Houstonians and have a little fun at the same time.
Being endorsed by a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a pretty good way to end the day.
